Joint Based Face Rig
This is a joint based face rig composed of approximately 60 joints. This is the first complex rig I have done and it took me about 5 weeks to make.read more
The rig is constructed out of different curves that the joints are connected to, these curves drive the joints translation. They are then driven by different blendshapes and the facecontrols decides which blendshapes that should be used when you move the different controls.
Wrinke shader
I also created a wrinkle shader to go with the face rig, which blends between different normal maps. The shader was created in Maya using shaderFX. With a color mask I marked out different areas in the normal map that I wanted to be influenced by the different normal maps.
LipSync
